JAMMU, Oct 11: The Department of Zoology, Cluster University of Jammu, observed “National Wildlife Week, 2024” where in the students, staff and others participated for “Wildlife Conservation through Co-existence”.
Dr. Meenakshi Bandral Chib (HoD/ Coordinator Zoology) presented views about National wildlife week. She explained conservation methods of wildlife in the way- “Let us save them for the planet.”
She further explained the importance of wildlife, relationship between animals and ecological factors were presented. The department organized different events like documentaries, quiz competition, poster making, slogans and Butterfly.
Talk by eminent speaker from Department of Zoology, Dr. Shakha Sharma (Assistant Professor, P.S.P.S. GCW Gandhi Nagar). The event signifies behavioral responses, their parental care, ridiculous and altruistic behavior were beautifully projected.
Among the students, faculty members of the concerned department also graced the event. Students presented various ideas in the form of slogans writing and poster making. The winners of the various events were also facilitated by the concerned departmental authority.
