Order is divinity

Capt Purushottam Sharma
“When there is righteousness in the heart there is beauty in the character,
When there is beauty in the character there is harmony in the home,
When there is harmony in the home there is Order in the nation,
When there is Order in the nation there is peace in the world’’.
The Creator has created the Law of Order in His creation  for smooth functioning of His domain. It is impossible to manage His Universe if there is disorder in five elements of nature. Space, air, fire, water and earth have to stick to their respective roles in orderly way. When they clash or take to disorder, there are chaos. Order enriches. Order is life. In order lies all happiness. In order lies peace. Order begets creativity. It brings positive feelings in the heart. Order makes us good human beings. It  uplifts and enlightens. When sacred thoughts originate in the heart, it is the fruit of good order. It enables us to conquer heights. Therefore, significance of order needs to be realized by us all for living ideal life.
The Owner of the Universe created the human race with varieties of planets, human being, vegetation, animals, birds, reptiles and insects and He abides Himself in all these. He Himself reveals the glimpse of His Divine  Manifestation in Discourse X of Srimad Bhagwat Geeta.
And He says “saktah karmanyavidmamso yatha kurvanti bharata
kuryad vivdvama stathasak tascikirsurlokasangraham. (25/III)
Arjuna, as the unwise act with attachment, so should the wise man, seeking maintenance of the World Order act without attachment.’’
God’s noblest creation is man, the spark of Him. Man devised and discovered amazing ways and means to arrange things in order. The Lord is perfect and Supreme and has bestowed man with wonderful wisdom faculties to bring good Order and discipline in the society.
We often speak of world order, social order, economic order and political order. When we find things in  order, may be home, environment or work place or anywhere else, we get elated. And disorder causes us repugnance or offence. Therefore, order or disorder has direct influence on our emotions too because we keep ourselves encountering with attributes of nature. Our positive emotions are the produce to f good order and negative ones that of disorder.
A Doctor  or a professional cannot afford to attend to all the patients / clients at any one time but has to observe an order. Policeman ensures law and order so that people live in peace and harmony. Traffic police is there to bring order in vehicles movements so that human lives and properties are secured. Music has to be played in certain order by following the relevant notes otherwise  it will cause frightful noise. In an Operation Theatre or a worskhop or in any other place of work, instruments have to be arranged in order to ensure spontaneous availability and work efficiency. Not only that, it  has also to be ensured that instruments are also in order, that is, in perfect working condition. At his controls a Pilot,  a Driver, a Machinist, a farmer in the field have to follow an order to keep away mishaps. Similarly, in every given organization, order has to be followed from top to bottom. An Order is something right in earnestness. Disorder is wrong and distorting which takes on the wrong road and pushes in violent crimes.
Observe the  solar system. The traveling of the sun on ecliptic exactly through the centre of zodiac is wonderful. In armed forces, it is the order that makes efficient fighting machines. Just observe the body system. One is in high spirits and gay when all parts are found working in perfect order. Disorder in any part is called ailment or obsession that causes pain and suffering. The order followed with elegant co-ordination on Republic Day Parade and on other such  ceremonial occasions is fascinating and magnificent indeed. Observe the beautiful order or arrangement of a beehive of bees. The march of ants in order is really wonderful. The arrangement in the orange, pomegranate and in varieties of fruits are amazing and speak of good order. The herds of cattle and flocks of birds are the followers of good order.
We need to observe law of order at home too for convenience and comfort to ensure that books are arranged in order in book shelves, raiment in wardrobe, shoes in shoe-racks, drinks in fridge, food in kitchen, beauty-aids at the dressing table and valuables in boxes and chests securely. Each thing must be at its proper place to save time and avoid ugly situations. We see how the Lord has put the North Star in perfect order. It stays in its place and all other stars keep surrounding it.
Co-operation in any field brings order. Conflict causes disorder. Our prosperity, growth and hapiness depends on order. Men of merit and maturity can only keep the system in order and they  may belong to any faith or culture or country to achieve highest ends of the human society.
The human values truth, love, peace, righteousness, non-violence, humility, contentment, compassion, sacrifice, forgiveness bring order in the society. Devilish tendencies cause disorder and bring untold sorrows and suffering. Therefore, we need to be order-friendly.
