JAMMU, Oct 12: A new express train service has been launched between Dhanbad and Jammu Tawi to improve passenger convenience.
As per available information, train number 03309/03310 will run from Dhanbad every Tuesday and from Jammu Tawi every Wednesday.
The fully air-conditioned service features 20 third-tier AC coaches, offering passengers affordable and comfortable travel.
Since its launch on October 1, 2024, the train has quickly gained popularity. Tickets are waitlisted until October 15, with 2,546 passengers already using the service.
The train connects major cities across Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, including Dhanbad, Gaya, Prayagraj, Delhi, Ambala, and Jammu.
The service enhances connectivity to key pilgrimage sites like Gaya, Kashi, Varanasi, and Vaishno Devi, while also offering direct access to tourist hubs such as Delhi and Jammu.
