The event, marked by deep religious fervor, draws a large number of worshipers who offer special prayers and seek divine blessings. Held annually in the Islamic month of Rabi Us Sani, the Urs is celebrated at both the Khanyar and Saraibala shrines, where devotees pay obeisance at the revered sites. Throughout the day, a solemn spiritual atmosphere prevails, with the saint’s relics displayed after each of the five daily prayers.
Night-long prayers, or Shab Khawani, took place at the Khanyar shrine, with worshipers praying for peace, prosperity, and stability in the region. The shrines were adorned with festive decorations, and vendors lined the surrounding streets, selling local delicacies and goods. Nearby markets were illuminated with vibrant lights, enhancing the festive ambiance.
