AIRNF announces new committee for J&K

JAMMU, Oct 15: National president of All India Registered Nurses Federation (AIRNF), Suraj Gupta, today announced the new committee for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The newly constituted committee is set to represent the nursing community across the Union Territory. The appointed office bearers of the new J&K committee include Vishav Sharma (president), who is currently associated with Government Medical College (GMC) in Rajouri.
The vice presidents include Kanta Devi (GMC Jammu), Mubeena Akther (GMC Srinagar), Naveed Iqbal (GMC Doda), Gowher Ahmad Mir (GMC Baramulla) and Satish Singh (GMC Kathua). Priyanka Salaria of GMC Jammu has been named the general secretary while Rohit Verma from GMC Kathua will serve as the deputy general secretary.
Further appointments include Annie Khokhar, Reema Sharma and Ruqia Kouser as advisors from GMC Jammu and Doda, respectively. Shivam Bali (GMC Rajouri) and Aadil Mohammad (GMC Srinagar) have taken on the roles of joint secretary and deputy joint secretary. Manisha Manhas from GMC Doda is the new assistant secretary.
In media relations, Abrar Rashid Wani from GMC Baramulla will handle responsibilities for the Kashmir division while Ahrar Ahmed Dev from GMC Doda will manage media duties for the Jammu division. Rashmi Sharma from GMC Jammu has been appointed as the treasurer, with Pooja Chib from GMC Kathua serving as the deputy treasurer.
This new committee is expected to play a crucial role in addressing the concerns and welfare of nurses across J&K, ensuring a unified and strengthened representation for the nursing community.
