JAMMU, Oct 16: Shri Ram Universal School hosted a Parent Orientation Workshop focused on enhancing language skills and their integration into daily life. This initiative aimed to improve communication between parents and their children while emphasizing the importance of language development in a child’s overall growth.
Led by Komal Dua, Deputy General Manager of Education & Training at Shri Educare Limited (SEL) Delhi, the workshop engaged parents through interactive activities that illustrated how language skills can be seamlessly incorporated into daily routines. Dua shared practical strategies for enhancing children’s language abilities at home, reinforcing the concepts taught in school.
During the session, she highlighted the crucial role of language in cognitive development, social interactions, and academic success. Parents learned how to create a language-rich environment, encourage reading habits, and incorporate vocabulary-building exercises into everyday conversations.
The workshop included hands-on activities such as role-playing and group discussions, fostering active participation and making the experience highly engaging and informative. It underscored the importance of collaboration between parents and teachers in nurturing children’s language proficiency, contributing to their success in school and beyond.
