Diva Int’l Foundation organizes medical camp at DPL Jammu

JAMMU, Oct 17: A mega free medical camp was organized by Diva International Foundation, in collaboration with People’s Hut Foundation and J&K Police, at District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, along with DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, in the presence of Diva International Foundation’s Chairman and CEO, Amardeep Singh Sasan, and People’s Hut Foundation’s Director and CEO, Dr Rohit Koul.
The camp aimed to provide comprehensive medical services to police officers, their families, and officials.
Doctors and specialists from prominent hospitals and Government departments, including Centre for Sight Jammu, Global Diagnostic Lab, Ujala Cygnus, JK Medicity, Directorate of Health Services Jammu, and Directorate of Ayush J&K, participated in the event.
The “Mobile Health Clinic Program” offered a wide range of services, including general outpatient consultations, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, eye exams, and lab tests. Specialists in ophthalmology, psychiatry, dentistry, orthopedics, gynecology, general medicine, and oncology provided expert care.
Additionally, free medicines were distributed to the patients.
A total of 379 individuals received free medical consultations and treatments during the camp. Senior officers, including Joginder Singh (SSP Jammu), R S Sambyal (SSP Security Jammu), Faisal Qureshi (SSP Traffic Jammu), Irshad Hussain Rather (SP HQ Jammu), and Rabinder Kotwal (DySP DAR Jammu), were also present at the event.
