Forum for Terrorism Victims plea to new Govt

JAMMU, Oct 18: Forum for Terrorism Victims (FFTV) of J&K today expressed the hope that the new UT Government headed by Omar Abdullah will take appropriate steps in settling long standing issues of displaced Pandits from Valley who are craving for their return for the last 35 years of their forced exodus.
The Forum president, Dilip Kumar Pandita while expressing good wishes to the new Government said the Government needs to accord priority to long and short term issues of the displaced Pandits who are the victims of terrorism that include the enhancement of cash relief, compensation to over-aged youth, restoration of encroached land of the community in Valley and their religious places besides formulating a concrete plan for honourable and dignified return and rehabilitation of the community.
