POONCH, Oct 19: Jammu & Kashmir Alig Society, Pir Panjal Foundation for Peace and Harmony and Government Degree College Poonch jointly organized Sir Syed day programme in the auditorium of BSF at Mandi in which many dignitaries participated.
These organizations celebrate Sir Syed day every year during which beside remembering the works of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, cultural programme and seminars are also held. The theme of today’s seminar was “Life Skill Education, Educating the 21st Century Learners”.
Principal Government Degree College, Mandi, Professor Musarraf Shah said that many personalities were honoured today for their excellent work in respective fields. We celebrate this day every year to develop the personality of students as well. Pertinent to mention that Army officers and professors along with many locals participated in this programme.
