KARGIL, Oct 20: Member of Parliament (MP) Ladakh, Mohmad Haneefa Jan, visited Zanskar Sub-Division where he inaugurated key facilities and reviewed developmental progress.
The MP Ladakh was received by Executive Councilor, RDD, PRI, ZDA, and Information, LAHDC, Kargil, Punchok Tashi at Akshow village. Councilor, Karsha Constituency, Stanzin Jigmat, ADC Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Wani and Sub-Divisional level officers headed by SDM Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk were also present.
Enroute to Padum, the MP Ladakh met public delegations at village Akshow, Abran, Himiling, Skagyam, Phey, Rhanthaksha and Karsha.
On the second day of his tour, the MP visited Saini, Power Grid Station Gangbokbok, Salapi, Government Model Degree College Zanskar, Kumik, Stongday, Stongday Monastery, Chazar, and Zangla, where he met with public delegations.
The public delegations presented him with memorandums outlining their demands. During the tour, Mohmad Haneefa Jan inaugurated office cum residential quarters of Mechanical Department, Staff Quarter of GMDC Zanskar and NRLM Centre Padum.
The MP inspected the College laboratory, library, and other ongoing developmental activities at the Institution. He also interacted with the students. The MP was accompanied by the Executive Councilor (EC), district officers, SDM Zanskar, and other Sub-Divisional Officers.
Later, the MP chaired a meeting of officers at the Tourist Reception Centre, Zanskar. The meeting was attended by EC, Councilor Karsha Constituency, District and Sub-Divisional Officers.
