JKTJAC hopes new Govt will address their issues

JAMMU, Oct 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) has hoped that new government led by Omar Abdullah will resolve the pending issues of the teaching fraternity in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference here today, the JAC of the teachers said that the new Government has been framed in the Jammu and Kashmir after a gap of five years. While congratulating the new government, they said the teachers have high hopes from Omar’s Government.
The JAC leaders hoped that the new Government will come up to the expectation of the people of the state and specially the teaching fraternity. They also referred to the issues being faced by the teachers appointed under ReT Scheme. They hoped that new Govt will implement Government order No. 469 Edu of 2014 dated 25-6-2014.
They hoped that new Government as per its promise will scrape New Pension Scheme and implement the Old Pension Scheme in the Jammu and Kashmir. They also appealed to the Government to revoke the Govt order No. 226 (2) regarding retiring Government employees forcefully.
