The swearing in of a democratic Government in J&K led by CM Omar Abdullah after a decade has infused high hopes among domiciles of UT from newly elected Government as far as redressel of their grievances are concerned. End to the VIP culture on roads and release of DA for employees/pensioners is sign of sincere and dedication on the part of the Government. Unemployment among teenagers is a burning issue required to be tackled on priority. In order to improve health care in hospitals all the posts of consultants and assistant professors of GMC in Jammu and Srinagar be filled through PSC. Adhoc appointments be replaced by regular employees in all Government departments besides filling of all vacant posts. Issuances of senior citizen cards by social welfare department be initiated on priority as per practise in all states and UT of India.
