JAMMU, Apr 29: 13th Apex Body meeting of SAARC Diploma Engineers Forum was held at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, inaugurated the four-day event as the chief guest.
Er Jagjit Singh Jaggi from Jammu, AEE Mech and Member Secretary Infrastructure Development Committee of SAARC Diploma Engineers Forum, attended the conference and presented paper on topic ‘Prospect of Infrastructure Development in SAARC Region’.
All the SAARC country representatives of the Forum attended the four day conference, in which various technical sessions were held on different topics, like ‘Role of Engineers in Conservation of Forests and Environment’, ‘Promotion of Low Cost Appropriate Technology’, ‘Pest Control’, ‘High Speed Data’ etc.
