Panels framed to scrutinize illegal promotions

JAMMU, Oct 24: The Industries and Commerce Department has constituted panels in Jammu and Srinagar to scrutinize illegal promotions, if any, in the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom in Kashmir and Jammu.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of the committees (one each at Divisional Level Kashmir/Jammu) comprising five officers to scrutinize the illegal promotions, if any, made in the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom Kashmir/Jammu against the non-existent posts and in violation of seniority/recruitment rules,” read an order issued by Vikramjit Singh, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department.
The officers who will scrutinize the illegal promotions in Jammu are Akshi Gupta, Ramesh Kumar Raina, Sohan Lal, Kanika Gupta, and Sunil Pandit while as the officers who will scrutinize the illegal promotions in Kashmir are Rouf Ahmad Bhat, Feroz Ahmad Hajam, Masoud Ahmad Dar, Zahir Ahmad, and Ashiq Hussain.
