JAMMU, Oct 24: J&K Lower Grade Employees Union, Civil Secretariat has demanded release of their GP Fund and enhancement of Children’s allowance and HRA of the employees.
In a meeting with the Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, a delegation of the Lower Grade Employees led by its president Maqbool Hussain, discussed the pending demands of the low paid employees. They demanded that many GP Fund cases were pending as the employees need this money for the marriage of their wards or house construction/ repair etc.
They further demanded release of 3 % DA of the employees and pensioners before Diwali festival and enhancement of Medical Allowance, Children’s Allowance and HRA of the lower grade, other employees. They also demanded release of gratuity / leave salary dues of the retired employees.
