JAMMU, Oct 25: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today reaffirmed his commitment to the people of J&K and assured that the Omar Abdullah Government will fulfill all the promises outlined in the Party’s manifesto.
“The NC Government will fulfill all the promises outlined in our manifesto. We will work tirelessly to restore the priorities set by the Omar Abdullah-led government and revive the State’s development,” the Deputy CM said while addressing a public meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu.
Choudhary assured the people of J&K that the NC would work “day and night” to address their issues and build a prosperous future for the State. “Our Government headed by Omar Abdullah is committed to listening to the people, understanding their concerns and providing effective solutions,” he added.
He also emphasized the importance of resuming the Darbar Move, a bi-annual tradition that connects the regions of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that it is essential for reviving the economy of Jammu. “Resuming the Darbar Move will not only ensure administrative efficiency but also stimulate local businesses and industries,” he said.
Ajay Sadhotra (additional general secretary of NC), Rattan Lal Gupta (provincial president of NC) and other senior leaders and party workers were present in the meeting. The event marked Choudhary’s first visit to Jammu after taking on his new role, and he was greeted with enthusiasm by party leaders and supporters.
In his remarks, Rattan Lal Gupta emphasized the significance of this moment, highlighting the hopes and aspirations of the people of J&K pinned on the new Government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Ajay Sadhotra highlighted the need for a unified approach to tackle the challenges facing the region and expressed confidence in the new Government’s ability to deliver on its promises.
The event was attended by prominent party leaders and a large gathering of supporters, who expressed their optimism for a new era under the leadership of the NC.
