JAMMU, Oct 25: After the completion of the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, J&K BSP Unit has now started preparations for the Panchayat and civic elections.
During the meeting held at the party office on Friday, it was decided that the Bahujan Samaj Party will run a membership campaign across the JKUT for the upcoming civic bodies and Panchayat elections. Senior party leaders and workers were present during the meeting chaired by J&K unit president Darshan Rana. It was decided that the BSP will start a membership campaign in two phases.
Under the first phase, a membership campaign will be run in 10 districts of Jammu division, under which people will be made to take party membership by organizing programs at the Panchayat, Block and Tehsil level and under the second phase, a membership campaign will start in all the districts of Kashmir division.
