JAMMU, Apr 30:  Panthers Party supremo Prof Bhim Singh has appealed the Chief Election Commission to cancel the Srinagar Parliamentary constituency polls, held today, and demanded registration of FIR against Union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah as well as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for their provocative statements.
In a letter shot to the CEC V S Sampath, he alleged that the entire electoral process in Srinagar was fraught with dangerous consequences followed by indiscriminate detentions of thousands of innocent youth and voters in Kashmir valley on the eve of the election day.
The entire democratic process has been paralyzed by converting the whole constituency into a police camp on the polling day, he alleged and demanded cancellation of polls.
Prof  Singh also demanded  disqualification of the father and the son namely, Dr  Farooq Abdullah, sitting  Union Minister and  Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of J&K, respectively as they have plundered democracy and the electoral process with the sole intention to rig the polls through their mobile voters and keep the real voters away from the polling stations.
Prof Bhim Singh has also demanded to register FIR against Dr Farooq Abdullah for threatening to secede from India and his son Omar Abdullah for announcing that he would go to Pakistan.
