JKTJAC deputation meets Dy CM, submits charter of issues

JAMMU, Oct 26: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by UT president Vinod Sharma and UT Chairman Saleem Sagar met with Dy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary at Srinagar and submitted him a memorandum comprising their genuine issues.
While interacting, Vinod Sharma demanded implementation of Govt Order No.469 Edu of 2014 Dated 25.06.2014 wherein ReTs after regularisation are eligible for transfer within the district and their initial 5 years are included for seniority benefits . He told the Minister that despite lapse of 10 years, this order hasn’t been implemented till date . He requested him to resolve this issue.
Taking up the issue of scraping of NPS, he demanded that Old Pension Scheme be implemented in favour of all the employees who have been appointed on or after 01.01.2010 so that their post retirement lives are not to be troublesome. He said that those retiring under NPS scheme are getting a meagre amount which is insufficient to meet out their day to day needs.
Dy CM heard the deputation patiently and assured to consider these issues in the Cabinet.
Later JKTJAC deputation also met Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma and submitted him a memorandum of same demands and requested him to take up this issue in the Cabinet. Satish Sharma also assured to support this issue in the Cabinet.
The JKTJAC deputation comprised of Reyaz-ur Rehman (Vice Chairman ), Rajesh Jamwal (Provincial President Jammu), Sham Sharma (UT Chief Advisor), Khazan Singh, Suresh Kumar Choudhary, Gagan Kumar , Shmeem Ahmed, Zabeer Ahmed, Arshad Ahmed, Mohd Shakoor, Gulam Nabi, Azad Hussain, Amin Budgami, Mustaq Ahmed, Shahnwaz Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed Poshpori, Mohd Shafi, Peer Mustaq, Mohd Shafi Bhat, Ch Mushtaq Budgami, Abdul Rashid Dar, Manzoor Ahmed, Azeem Hafiz, Mudasir Ahmed and others.
