JAMMU, Oct 26: A fire broke out within a residential structure in Gandhi Nagar area today.
The fire broke out in the house of one Manik Kochhar son of Rakesh Kochhar of 8A, Last Morh, Gandhi Nagar, when he was not home, said a police official.
Soon after getting information about the fire, the police official said, the owner of the house raised an alarm, followed by which fire tenders were rushed to the spot in the presence of police to contain the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was controlled, said the police official, adding that there was no loss of life or injuries reported in the incident.
