JAMMU, Oct 26: Central University of Jammu today released July-September 2024 issue of the quarterly wall magazine ‘Sharda’, published by the Department of Hindi and Other Indian Languages.
Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, Prof Sanjeev Jain, while releasing the issue of ‘Sharda’, said that along with giving various types of information to the people, newspapers and magazines have an important role in bringing awareness in the society.
“At present, while on the one hand the media houses have connected people with globalization, literary newspapers and magazines have brought a new revolution in the society,” he added.
The Vice Chancellor extended his best wishes to the authors of the works published in the ‘Sharda’ wall magazine and congratulated the two editor researchers, Shivam and Dalesh Sharma.
On this occasion, Head of Department Prof Bharat Bhushan gave information about the work being done by the department.
The editor-in-chief of the magazine, Dr Shashikant Mishra thanked everyone. The event was attended by all faculty members, researchers, and students from the department.
