NSF criticizes Police for failure to arrest culprits of theft cases

JAMMU, Apr 30:  National Secular Forum (NSF) today strongly criticized Jammu and Kashmir Police Department for its failure to nab the culprits, who had stolen the answer scripts of M Phill students of Dogri Department and tyres of JURSEA president’s car.
Talking to media persons, here today, NSF City chairman Ajaz Shah said that even after months since the registration of complaints in both the cases, Police has failed to identify the culprits and arrest them.
Some unknown miscreants has stolen tyres of  JURSEA president’s car, which was parked outside Nehru hostel last November while  answer scripts of M Phill students of Dogri Department were also stolen after a few days . Even as the answer scripts were later sent back to JU through Post, the Police has so far failed to unreveal  the drama behind this episode and identify the accused.
“The JKP, which is notorious for harassing common masses, is seemingly hand in glove with the thieves of Jammu University involved in above said cases, and therefore has not taken any action so far”, the NSF leader alleged and appealed  Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene into the matter for action against the accused.
Those who were present in the press-conference, included, PP Singh, Qayoom Malik, Amit Salgotra, Anees Charak,  Javed Iqbal, Narinder Singh, and others.
