Monga visits families of martyred army porters

SRINAGAR, Oct 27: Senior Congress leader and former MLC Ghulam Nabi . Monga today visited the grieved families of two army porters who lost their lives in a militant attack in Botapathri area of Gulmarg.
Monga who was accompanied by senior district leader from Baramullah Irshad Budoo and others, during the visit, expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary and Zahoor Ahmad Mir, acknowledging the immense sacrifice these individuals made while serving the nation.
While Mushtaq Chowdhary belonged to Hundi-Nowshera in Uri, Zahoor Ahmad Mir hailed from Barnate-Boniya in Uri. Monga visited the both families to express sympathies with them. He urged the Government to provide compensation to the families of the slain porters in accordance with army norms, underscoring that their work was essential to national security and should be recognized.
