JAMMU, Oct 27: Members of Shurveer Jammu Sangathan today joined the protest dharna for the demand of ‘National Mother’ status for cow, launched by Kalki Movement at Jammu.
Activists of Shurveer Sangathan, led by Arun Seekay (President SJS) along with Th Dev Karan, Deepan, Ravi Tangotra, Rahul Sudan, Dheeraj Koul and Partap Singh extended support to the Kalki Movement.
Addressing the media, Arun Seekay demanded to declare the ‘National Mother Status for Cow’ and enact an effective Central law to stop cow slaughtering across the country.
Arun Seekay said that the cow is like a mother to all of us. “We worship the cow, our culture worships the cow,” he maintained.
