BJP holds membership workshop

RAJOURI, Oct 28: In a spirited push toward strengthening the party’s base, the BJP Rajouri Unit organized a membership training workshop here, today. Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Priya Sethi was the chief guest, leading an intensive session aimed at preparing party workers and leaders for the upcoming membership drive of the BJP.
In her address, Priya Sethi underscored the significance of the membership drive, scheduled for a formal launch on November 6, across UT, district and Mandal levels. She encouraged party members to take a proactive approach, emphasizing the importance of reaching out to the community and conducting door-to-door membership efforts. “Our goal is to extend the party’s reach down to the Shakti Kendra and booth levels,” Sethi stated, urging attendees to ensure comprehensive participation across every unit and booth within the district.
Priya further highlighted that the membership drive is not merely about increasing numbers but about creating an empowered and informed base that represents the ideals of the BJP. “Every new member we bring into the fold is a testament to our shared commitment to nation-building and development. This drive is our opportunity to build lasting connections, to listen to people’s concerns, and to instill faith in our mission to uplift every citizen,” she asserted, calling upon leaders and workers alike to embrace this responsibility wholeheartedly.
Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, former Cabinet Minister, emphasized the importance of grassroots engagement in strengthening the BJP’s foundation. “The success of our membership drive will lie in the hands of dedicated workers who connect directly with people at every level. This drive is an opportunity to showcase BJP’s vision for development and inclusivity,” Ali remarked, urging attendees to work with commitment.
Addressing the gathering, he criticized the National Conference for spreading “fake and false propaganda” and accused the party of sowing seeds of communalism in Jammu and Kashmir. “Our focus is on unity and development, while certain parties continue to mislead and divide the people,he added.
Adding to the sentiment, senior BJP leader and DDC Darhal, Mohd Iqbal Malik, highlighted the need for unity and perseverance.
Senior BJP leader and Prabhari Rajouri district Jugal Dogra urged party men to work hard to make this membership drive successful.
Senior BJP leader and DDC Thannamandi also addressed the meeting.
The workshop was convened by senior BJP leaders and district general secretaries, Manzoor Naik and Pushpinder Gupta.
