JAMMU, May 1: Tourism Department imposed Rs 30,000 fine on hotels, guest houses, restaurants and dry fruit shops for violating Tourist Trade Act.
A team comprising of SP Enforcement Tourism, Srinagar, J&K, Abdul Qayoom Sofi along with TS Sodhi, Incharge, Tourist Police Post, Railway Station Jammu visited various areas of the winter capital including Gujjar Nagar, Residency Road, Bagh-e-Bahu and Shiv Market at Railway Station Jammu.
The team inspected hotels, guest houses, restaurants and dry fruit shops and imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 on the defaulters for violating Tourist Trade Act.
