Social worker donates blankets, suits for Kishtwar fire victims

JAMMU, Oct 31: In order to help the families of Kishtwar fire victims, social worker and former President of Traders Federation Ware House, Rattan Lal Gupta today donated 250 blankets and 46 warm suits.
Gupta presented these items to Kavyam Mahajan, President of Rotract Club Jammu City, during a function held here today.
Deepak Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market was also present on this occasion.
Deepak Gupta praised the efforts of Rattan Lal Gupta and said that Rattan Lal Gupta is always ahead to help the needy people of the society. Even while being the head of the Federation, he continued to do social service work and even now his efforts are continuing.
“Many people became homeless due to the fire incident in Kishtwar and now the winter season is also coming. In such a situation, the help by Rattan Lal Gupta will prove useful for the people,” he said.
While giving information about the activities of the club, president of Rotract Club Jammu City, Kavyam Mahajan said, “Their club is working towards the welfare of needy children. On behalf of the club, necessary equipment for digital class rooms along with establishing libraries for children has been provided in many government schools.”
She also expressed her gratitude to Rattan Lal Gupta for giving blankets and suits for fire victims.
