JAMMU, Oct 31: The protest demonstration by Movement Kalki demanding the status of ‘National Mother’ for the Cows here today entered day 11 at Ambphalla Chowk.
The protest continues to get support from those who are deeply committed for the cause of cow protection.
Speaking on the occasion one of the protesters, Rohit Bajrangi stated that the protest will continue till the Cow gets the status of ‘National Mother’ and strict laws for the protection of cows are made.
He said that the Central Government and Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha have been urged to take concrete steps towards cow protection.
The protesters also demanded strict regulations to completely curb cattle trafficking and to prevent cow slaughter.
Prominent among the protesters included Sanjeev Dubey, Karnail Chand, Rohit Bajrangi, Suresh Kumar, Sapna Kohli, Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Pawan Narang, Sudesh Kumar Gargotra, Sunny Kapahi, Deepak Sharma and others.
The protesters have urged upon the general public to join the movement for the protection of cows.
