JAMMU, Oct 31: Members of Jammu Kashmir Private Schools Association today presented a memorandum to Sudershan Kumar, Secretary JKBOSE for opening of the portal of various private schools of Jammu & Kashmir.
While presenting the memorandum, members highlighted that number of private schools have been deprived from the online services by the JKBOSE to fill the examination form in online mode of different classes in accordance to the notification No: F (Acad-c)/Reg- Exam-X/XI/XII/E-7580651/2024 dated 15-10-2024.
Members said that they had applied for the approval of management committee to the Director School Education for more than one year along with other NOCs from departments but none of the official was ready to provide the delivery within the specified time limit in accordance to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Guarantee Act.
“The career of students is at stake as last date to upload the Examination forms of 10th & renewal Registration Returns cum examination form of 11th & 12th Annual (Regular) session 2025 is November 01, 2024 without late fees,” reads the memorandum.
President of the association, Ajay Gupta demanded immediate opening of the portal of all schools whose recognition / affiliation is pending due to the non availability of NOCs from the different departments as one time exemption. He also demanded reschedule of the dates so that school authorities whose portal are ceased by the JKBOSE can upload the details for the forthcoming examination of the students studying in class 10th, 11th and 12th without any late fees.
Secretary JKBOSE gave a patient hearing and promised to open the portal. He also promised for rescheduling of the dates so that school authorities can upload examination form of the students studying in class 10th, 11th and 12th without any late fees.
Those who were present on the occasion, included Suraj Singh Rathore (Joint Secretary, Examination JKBOSE), Chaman Lal (Joint Secretary-General JKBOSE ), Ajay Singh (Vice President JKPSA), Sat Paul Mansotra (General Secretary JKPSA), Sanjeev Luthra (Treasurer JKPSA), R P Sharma, Vineet Gupta, Dr M M Sharma,Abrar Asif, Nazir Ahmed Lone, Shiv Kumar, Ramban, Mohd Suleman, Banihal , Ramban, Sajad Malik, Mukesh Kumar, Ved Parkash, Shashi Kumar, Tilak Raj and Rajinder Singh.
