JAMMU, May 2: Castigating the Government for recent appointments of Nodal Principles in newly sanctioned Medical Colleges in Jammu province, National Secular Forum (NSF) today said that without proper infrastructure the MBBS course in newly created colleges would be a cruel joke with people of Jammu region and with those who will get enrolled in these colleges.
“State Government is claiming that these Medical Colleges will be started from this session. But without infrastructure what will be the future of students, who will pursue MBBS courses from these colleges and after attaining degrees from such colleges, in what terms they will serve the public?”, asked Sukhdev Singh, president of NSF.
“Who will teach the MBBS students, being enrolled in newly sanctioned colleges and how will they perform, when there are no laboratories in new colleges, which lack other infrastructure also”, he asked and sought to know that with the appointment of nodal Principals, what the State Government, especially the Medical and Education Minister, wanted to convey to masses.
The NSF leader said that it would be mockery with the public of Jammu province and especially the public of Doda, Rajouri and Kathua, where the Medical Colleges have been sanctioned. He alleged that the decision on Medical colleges reveals a hidden agenda of Government to befool masses.
