JAMMU, Nov 2: The ongoing protest by Movement Kalki here today entered day 13 demanding that cows should be granted the status of ‘National Mother’ and strict laws must be made for their protection.
The protest today received support from the president of Antarrashtriya Hindu Mahasabha, Sanjay Ghai who also joined the protest.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghai said, “Our elected representatives have yet to acknowledge the significance of this movement. Shelters for cows should be built across the country.”
During the protest, Movement Kalki core committee member Maharaj Thakur Arjun Singh said, “We will make every effort to bring awareness, so that every section of society supports our movement to grant cows the status of National Mother.”
Others who participated in the protest included Sanjeev Dubey, Vikram Mahajan, Sudesh Kumar Gargotra, Sapna Kohli, Pawan Narang, Advocate Someshwar Kohli, Rohit Bajrangi, Sunita Kundal, Suresh Kumar, Santosh Kundal, Suresh Bahu and Dr. Sudesh Kumar.
