Srinagar, May 2: Two persons were injured and three structures were partially damaged in different fire incidents, last evening.
Police said fire broke out in the General Mess of ‘F’ coy of IRP-8th BN at old residence of SDM Sopore resulting in partial damage to the Mess. Constable Showkat Ahmad an cook Tawseef Ahmad received minor burn injuries. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment where from they were shifted to Srinagar for further treatment. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
Fire broke out in the embroidery factory of Farooq Ahmad Gurkhoo son of Noor Mohammad resident of Umer Colony B at Baghi Ali Mardan Khan, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lal Bazar, Srinagar resulting in the damage to cloths in the factory. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and police.
Fire broke out at SIDCO Rangreth in the factory of Metal Industry of Khalid Muzaffar Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Maisuma Srinagar resulting in partial damage to the factory. Fire was brought under control by locals.
