KARGIL, Nov 4: Chairman/ CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today congratulated six students from Kargil who represented the Union Territory of Ladakh at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, on the occasion of Ladakh’s UT Foundation Day.
In a reception held at the Council Secretariat in Kargil, Dr Akhoon welcomed and congratulated the students and expressed immense pride in their achievements.
The CEC extended his gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor of UT Ladakh for his continued interest in providing students with valuable opportunities that enable them to engage with national leaders and institutions.
“It is a moment of great pride for Ladakh that our students had the privilege of meeting the head of our Constitution, the President of India,” Dr Akhoon said.
The CEC encouraged the students to continue their journey with dedication and a commitment to contribute positively to society.
Akhoon reaffirmed LAHDC’s support for initiatives that nurture the potential of young talents in the region, ensuring their progress and participation in national events.
