JAMMU, Nov 5: On the lines of Directorate of Health Services, Government of Jammu and Kashmir has sanctioned establishment of separate Directorate of Medical Education within the Health & Medical Education Department.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to establishment of separate Directorate of Medical Education in the Health & Medical Education,” stated an order issued by Secretary to the Government, H&ME Department, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah.
Pertinently, the sanction for separate Directorate of Medical Education has been accorded with reference to Administrative Council Decision Number 122/10/2024 dated 07-10-2024.
