JAMMU, May 3: Powergrid Shrishti Mahila Samiti distributed uniforms among the children of Government Schools here today.
The members of Powergrid Shrishti Mahila Samiti led by its president Meena Sharma visited Government High School Raipur Satwari and Government High School Surey Chak and distributed school uniforms among 62 students.
The Shrishti Mahila Samiti team was accompanied by ID Soni, Commissioner, J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides and general secretary, Indian Red Cross and MM Sharma, Zonal Commissioner, J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides.
Meena Sharma during her interaction called upon the children to concentrate on their formal education as well.
She emphasized the fact that Powergrid Shrishti Mahila Samiti will continue to serve the society.
Earlier, Roma Wani presented the welcome address, whereas in the end ID Soni presented vote of thanks.
Meena Joshi, Jyotsna Dash, Madhu Sharma, Karuna Rastogi, Sudesh Thakur and Sham Lal were among the members present on the occasion.
