JAMMU, Nov 8: The Government Railway Police (GRP) Jammu has recovered an unidentified male body.
A GRP official said that on November 6th, 2024, an unidentified man, approximately 40-year-old, was run over by Subdarganj SF train at track Km 65.17 in Samba district, resulting in his death on-the-spot.
Accordingly, he said, the body was shifted to the mortuary room of the District Hospital Samba for post-mortem and identification purposes.
Since the identity of the deceased couldn’t be ascertained so far, the GRP has appealed the general public to help them identify the dead individual.
Around 5 feet and 8 inches tall, the deceased individual according to the GRP was wearing white T-shirt, blue pant, and black shoes when his body was recovered from the Railway track.
