I wish to find myself again,
the me who got lost,
somewhere in the quiet, dark places,
between worries and dreams.
I wish to pick up the pieces I left behind,
like puzzle pieces scattered by the wind,
and feel my smile reach my heart again,
not just a curve on my lips, but a warm glow inside,
like sunlight after a rainy day.
My heart still feels a little heavy,
still holds its quiet battles,
but I feel a spark of hope,
a small light growing, bit by bit.
I’m not whole yet,
but maybe, just maybe,
I’m finding my way back.

THE FEARS AND RISKS
The fears of life give us awareness.
Life becomes easy and there is cleanliness.
These are few risks we deal.
Nothing is fake and things are real.
It may bring some drain in our energy.
But after sometimes there exists the synergy.
The fear may be smooth or sometimes tough.
But it tells us to overcome our rough.
The risks and fairs both taken together.
We may see the onset of spring or there may exist very cold weather.

Echoes of Absence
The loneliness of my cold mattress
howls through my dark somber room.
These windows know too much to let the sun’s rays of hope inside.
They sulk with me,
They ask about you.
My couch has hardened since you’ve left,
It keeps asking if I am over you.
My dustbins overflow with my emotions,
They have become as dysfunctional as I’m.
My electronics don’t work and I don’t take them for repair.
I don’t go for my night walks anymore,
I don’t take myself for repair.
The person in me walked away with you as well,
Now remains a shell,
Scared to face the world,
Hanging by a thread,
Controlled like a puppet by something that has already left.
