Pak again violates ceasefire on LoC

Jammu, May 4: Pakistani army last night again resorted to unprovoked firing and breaching ceasefire agreement.
Army troops guarding the LoC retaliated and the exchanges between the two sides continued for about two hours last night.
“Pakistani troops resorted to small arms and automatic weapons firing on Indian posts at Deri Dabsi along the LoC in Mendhar sector in Poonch district from 2330 hours last night,” official sources said.
Army troops guarding the LoC fired back resulting in intermittent exchanges of fire, sources said, adding “firing exchanges continued for two hours.
There was no loss of life or injury to anyone on this side of the LoC, they said.
This was fourth incident of ceasefire violation in the past nine days along the LoC.
On April 28, Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire by firing on Indian posts along the LoC in Bhimber Gali in Rajouri district. Earlier on April 25, they had fired with small arms and mortars on Indian posts in Doda battalion areas in Poonch district. While yesterday Pakistani troops has violated ceasefire in Sabjian sector of Poonch.
Sources said all ceasfire violations by Pakistan were aimed at push militants into this side. However, Army has foiled all infiltration attempts.
