JAMMU, Nov 11: Vikram Puri, Chairman of the Trade and Industry for the National Conference (NC) in Jammu, held a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today.
The discussions focused on enhancing industry support mechanisms, expanding MSME credit access, and improving logistics and transportation to fuel regional economic growth.
During the meeting, Puri provided an in-depth analysis of Jammu’s trade and industrial landscape, presenting targeted recommendations to strengthen the business environment and foster economic growth across the Union Territory.

Puri emphasized the need to extend the National Cooperative Support Scheme (NCSS) package with budgetary allocations tailored for local industries, noting that this would sharpen Jammu’s competitive edge.
He further advocated for incentives to attract investments, aiming to create a robust, industry-friendly ecosystem that leverages the unique potential of Jammu & Kashmir.
