DODA, Nov 11: Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board today took stock of Waqf assets in this hilly district.
As per a statement, Andrabi had a detailed discussion regarding the developmental projects to be executed in the future by the Waqf Board.
Waqf Executive Officer Doda Javed Iqbal Zargar informed Andrabi that several projects are in a pipeline to be executed in a phased manner.
“Sufi circuit is the nerve centre of peace and spiritual excellence in J&K, ” Andrabi stated while speaking with the media persons at Doda.
Earlier, she visited Kishtwar, where she paid obeisance at the shrines of Shah Asrar-ud-Din (RA) and Shah Fariduddin (RA) and prayed for peace in J&K.
She also held a meeting with the Waqf Board staff in the district and assessed the work on various ongoing projects.
