JAMMU, Nov 12: A Blood Donation Camp organized by the 4 J&K Bn NCC units and NSS units of Dogra College of Education, Dogra Law College, and Dogra Degree College, under the aegis of Dogra Educational Trust, was held in collaboration with the Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust. In his address, Charak highlighted the significance of blood donation as an essential humanitarian act that saves lives and strengthens community bonds.
A total of 106 student volunteers contributed, with Dogra Degree College providing 17 donors, Dogra College of Education contributing 2, and Dogra Law College with 16 donors. The event was supervised by Dr. Uttra Sambyal, Medical Officer at Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, along with her team. The seamless execution of the camp was ensured by the efforts of Gulshan Sharma, Om Parkash, and Kewal Krishan, who managed logistics and coordination.
