SRINAGAR, May 5: Speaker Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul inspected various sections in Assembly Secretariat and took stock of the arrangements made for smooth office functioning on re-opening of offices here today in Summer Capital after annul Darbar Move. The sections include assurance section, hospitality and protocol, stationary, translation, accounts and administration.
The Speaker instructed the Secretary, Assembly Secretariat to sort out the problems of Assembly employees, if any, being faced by any official on priority enabling them to discharge their duties without any inconvenience.
Earlier, Gul while chairing an officers meeting directed the concerned to obtain Action Taken Reports of the questions raised during Zero Hour in Budget session held in February this year. He said that the reports were normally to be obtained in the month of March and April but has not been received in view of Lok Sabha elections and imposition of Model Code of Conduct.
Secretary Assembly, M Ramzan and other officers accompanied the Speaker during his inspection.
