JAMMU, May 5: A joint team of Forest Department, Police and Forest Protection Force (FPF) today sealed ten illegal structures on Katra-Domail road today.
An official spokesman said that in compliance to the directions issued by the J&K High Court in the matter of sealing process of buildings on Forest land, a team of officials led by Executive Magistrate Ist Class/ Tehsildar Settlement Reasi, Ram Lal Sharma and DFO Reasi Dr Sayed Nadeem Hussain, assisted by Dy Director FPF Parshotam Verma, Range Officer Katra Munish Gupa, SDPO Katra Rawal Choudhary and SHO Katra Sanjeev Gupta along with police and FPF men organised a joint operation today and sealed ten illegal structures raised on Katra-Domail road.
The people whose illegal structures including two cafeterias were raised on Forest land are identified as Indru, son of Man Parkash of Kandyar, Thoru Ram, son of Shambu Ram of Kandyar, Birbal, son of Nand Lal, Khushi Mohd, son of Fazal Din, Dharam Chand, son of Rakhi Ram, Joginder, son of Tej Ram, Balbir Singh, son of Joginder, Sher Mohd, son of Rahim Din, Hari Singh, son of Girdhari Lal and one single storey building of Govt Middle School Moori.
The spokesman said that the department is also going to take action with regard to six more structures identified on this road including Police Check Post, Moori.
