SRINAGAR, May 5: Soon after the Civil Secretariat resumed its work Monday morning here, Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey visited various departmental offices and sections and took appraisal of the readiness in these offices to start normal official work.
Chief Secretary took stock of the various renovation works that have been carried out in various blocks of the Secretariat besides interacted with the staff members of various offices and enquired about the new and improved facilities provided in these offices. He also enquired about the accommodation facilities of moving employees here at Srinagar.
He was informed that LAN/Internet facilities have been extended to all offices besides remodeling of various clerical halls has been done and necessary facilities have been extended to them for smooth discharge of their respective official duties.
Chief Secretary was accompanied by Principal Secretary Planning and Development B R Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister B B Vyas, Secretary GAD M A Bukhari, Director Information Tasaduq Jeelani, Director Estates Sheikh Fayaz and other senior officers.
