Bashir re-elected as president of NKFA

Srinagar, Nov 13: Bashir Ahmad Basheer has been elected President of the New Kashmir Fruit Association, Fruit Mandi Parimpora.
The election for office bearers was held today, with over 280 members-98 percent of the total membership-participating.
According to the final results, Bashir Ahmad Basheer was elected as President of the Association, while Anil Kumar was elected as Vice-President.
Other office bearers elected include Mohammad Ayoob Bhat as General Secretary, Abdul Majeed Reshi as Joint Secretary, Chowdhary Mohammad Shahid as Chairman of Trade, and Ali Mohammad Reshi as Chairman of Transport.
The President told ‘Excelsior’ that out of 291 members, 281 cast their votes, ensuring a smooth election process with an active participation of the majority of members.
He stated that the Association will work for the betterment of all stakeholders and address the issues faced by the sector.
