Jandyal Sabha finalises arrangements

JAMMU, May 5: All Jandyal Sabha held a meeting at the devasthan of Baba Sahej Nath, Gole Pulley and discussed various measures to develop and beautify the shrine area with objective of improving facilities to the devotees.
The Committee also reviewed arrangements being made for the smooth conduct of the bi-annual congregation of the baradari being held on the occasion of Buddha Purnima falling on May 14.
The working committee meeting was chaired by the chief patron of the Sabha Jt (retd) KK Gupta.
It was decided that the temple complex will be beautify on the occasion of the congregation with special focus on improvement in sanitation, cleanliness of the premises and distribution of prasad.
It was also decided to request the R&B Department to improve the Gole Pulley road, which has developed many pot holes. A horticulture development scheme will also be formulated for the complex with the help of experts.
The meeting was attended by Deputy chief patron OP Gupta, Chairman IC Jandial, President of the Sabha Rajeev Jandial, Romesh Jandial senior vice president, Balraj Gupta, vice president, general secretary Rakesh Jandial, KB Jandial, Ashok Gupta, Pardeep Gupta, Ravi Mahajan, Mohan Lal Gupta, all patrons and other working committee members including Vinod Jandyal, Tarsem Jandial, KK Jandial and Mohan Lal Jandyal.
Meanwhile, a four member sub-committee was constituted to effect purchases for works approved by the committee to ensure proper utilization of funds. The committee members are president, general secretary, Mohan Lal Gupta and Advocate KK Jandial.
