JAMMU, Nov 14: A woman was allegedly raped by an individual in Jhajjar Kotli area here.
On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case FIR number 248/2024 under the relevant sections of the law and started further investigation into the matter.
As per the available information, the victim, who is a resident of Kahpota area, was returning from TSO office in a matador from Domail to Manwal area.
En-route, the woman claimed that a passenger started a conversation with her and cleverly dialled from her phone to get her contact details.
Later, the accused rang up the woman and asked her to meet. Followed by this, he took her to an abandoned location and committed crime with her.
After she lodged a written complaint with the Police against one Vicky resident of Badsu, police have lodged an FIR and started further investigation into the matter.
