32 PoK residents arrive, 7 Kashmiris cross to other side of LoC

SRINAGAR :  Thirty-two residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir(PoK) arrived here while seven Kashmiris crossed over to other side of Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives separated in 1947 due to  partition.
Official sources said 15 returnees also crossed sides at Kaman Post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC.
They said 32 PoK residents, including seven women and ten children arrived at Kaman post in the Karvan-e-Aman bus operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of POK.    The PoK residents will also witness polling in Baramulla Parliamentary constituency being held tomorrow.    Sources said two Kashmiris, who had gone to PoK returned to their homes after completing stay across the LoC.    Seven Kashmiris, including three women, crossed over to other side of the LoC to meet their relative in PoK, they said adding 13 PoK residents who were here returned to their homes after completing stay here. They included three women and a child. The bus has helped thousands of divided families to meet each other since it was started on April 7,2005 after India and Pakistan government agreed to allow travel people living on both sides on Travel Permits instead of International passport.
