Civil Society of Old Janipur discusses issues

JAMMU, Nov 16: A meeting of J&K Civil Society Old Janipur Development Action Committee was held here today under the chairmanship of Kulwant Singh Sambyal.
The Civil Society members discussed the long pending demands in the meeting which included cutting of branches of big trees at JDA Park in Mohalla Shant Nagar.
They said that there was an urgent need to install CCTV cameras in Ward number 35 and adjoining area of Old Janipur.
The members also discussed the need to repair lanes and drains, blacktopping of certain roads, non-functional street lights at Mohalla Ram Vihar, Indra Vihar, Pandoka Colony Shant Nagar and adjoining areas of JDA Park of Old Janipur.
The Civil Society members appealed to the concerned authorities to seriously look into the matter as soon as possible so that the people of the area may heave a sigh of relief.
