JAMMU, Nov 17: Police in Chinore area today claimed to have arrested an individual, who was allegedly hoarding LPG cylinders.
Acting on credible information, a team of Police Post Chinore, led by Incharge Police Post concerned, raided the residence of one Azayed Ahmed alias Rinku of Nardani Malpur and seized from his possession 70 illegally stored LPG cylinders, more than the storing capacity, in violation of the Essential Commodities Act 1955, a police official said.
The accused has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 264/2024 under sections 3/7 of the Essential Commodities Act at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up, he said.
